If the trap is not in use for a long time: Remove the batteries and disconnect the power cord Operation steps:1. Start: Detach the base of the trap by sliding the top part toward the side where the "on/off" switch is located. Lift the top straight up when unlocked, do the opposite steps to attach the top and bottom of the trap. Make sure the parts are locked in position and fully aligned2. Power: Insert 4x C(LR14) batteries or connect the power cord3. Bait: Slide out the bait box and put a small amount of sticky bait4. Position: Place the trap alongside a wall on a flat surface, in a dry and well-ventilated place(Please note that use the side with storage box to face the wall)5. Activate: Set the switch to ON. The indicator light will show if the trap starts successfully and is in armed mode(See indicator light)6. Catch: The trap releases a series of high voltage shocks instantly killing the mouse. Thereafter the floor slides open, releasing the mouse into the storage box7. Clean: When the storage box is full(up to 10 mice), empty the storage box and dispose it.
