Product DescriptionThe circuit symbol for a Zener diode is that the diode is a semiconductor device with a high resistance until a critical reverse breakdown voltage. At this critical breakdown point, the reverse resistance is reduced to a very small value, where the current increases and the voltage remains constant in the low resistance region, and the Zener diodes are graded according to the breakdown voltage, because of this characteristic, the regulator is mainly used as a regulator or voltage reference component. Its volt-ampere characteristics are shown in Figure 1.
