The Norland Air Pillow is a simple solution to avoid a potentially expensive problem. Simply inflate the pillow and float it on the water's surface before placing your winter cover onto your pool for the season in order to absorb pressure and help protect your pool walls splitting due to water freezing during the coldest months. The Norland Air Pillow also reduces excess rain, snow, and leaves on your winter cover by puddling the excess water into one area, which can then be easily siphoned off with a cover pump. The Norland recommends filling the air pillow 3/4 full to minimize the chances of it bursting when the ice freezes around it putting pressure on it. 1 pillows are recommended for round pools 27' and larger and ovals 15'x30' and larger.The Above Ground Pool Winter Cover Air Pillow is designed to go underneath your winter cover and will compress when your pool water freezes, relieving your pool walls of stress caused by ice expansion during winter. The Air Pillow will also allow rain water, leaves and snow to concentrate in certain areas allowing for easier removal.  The Air Pillow is easy to use.
